Located in the historical South Side lofts on Lamar, originally the Sears and Roebuck headquarters built in 1913, Absinthe is a step back in time. Art Nouveau décor throughout the lounge pays homage to an era when architecture and interior design were the perfect marriage of form, function and art. The neighborhood bar meets the cutting edge and the classical at Absinthe. Relax, enjoy a live jazz band, live DJ, open mic talent, wine tastings, or a number of other extras offered regularly throughout the week.
